The ENDS Skatepark

Dear Family, Friends, and Faithful Supporters, 

During this season of sickness throughout our world, life as we know it quickly came to a halt. But like He always does, the Lord had a plan to use this standstill as a jumpstart for something new. With the majority of our trips and community outreach being canceled, the time we generally use to invest in others transitioned into a new form of investment to prepare for even more community to come. With the time we had on our hands, the pieces fell into place for us to build a private indoor skatepark/youth facility here in our community in just five short days! We’re calling this facility “The ENDS Skatepark” and on Saturday, June 6th we hosted our grand opening of this facility.

With nearly 100 skaters in attendance and at least that many additional spectators, lunch was served, the gospel was shared, friends were made, and the community we had been missing so badly was re-established.

Being the only indoor skatepark here in Fort Myers, the opportunities that we are already witnessing for the development of relationships is far surpassing our hopes and dreams. The facility is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week from 6-9 PM and each night we are leading Bible studies and presenting the gospel to crowds of at least 40-50 kids! We have youth traveling from all of the local parks and even some kids coming from the East Coast of FL to come hang out and praise the Lord with us; we’re getting the opportunity to present the gospel each night we’re open. 

We are so thankful for the generous partners at Living Word Church who looked at an empty warehouse and saw the gospel potential and invited us to help transform this location into a space for the community that has already had a tremendous impact! Thank you all for your faithful prayers and support that are helping to make projects like The ENDS possible. This is still just the beginning...
