FROM A DREAM TO A REALITY.

The prayer and dream of Ride Nature was birthed in November of 2009. Shannon and I had just gotten married and were praying about the next steps for our lives and where the Lord was leading us. I was 25 years old at the time and knew God was calling our family into full-time ministry but we had no idea where or what that was going to look like. Praying as I drove home from work one evening, I was asking the Lord to give me clarity for the next steps in our life. It was that evening and almost instantaneously, that God gave me the vision for Ride Nature.

The concept was simple; to use action sports as a tool to fulfill the great commission. Through the vision of generosity and getting skateboards and surfboards in the hands of kids who most likely never get the chance to surf or skate, we could use the gift of a board as a platform to share the ultimate gift any of us have ever received; hope and life through the work of Jesus. Growing up, my dream job was always to work with Samaritans Purse and more specifically, Operation Christmas Child. While it might not be under the umbrella of Samaritans Purse, I am so grateful He has allowed that dream to come true.

We are blown away at how the Lord has used our family to plant a seed that has far exceeded anything we had ever hoped or imagined it would. We have been so blessed to have been surrounded by such incredible leaders, prayed over by countless prayer warriors, and supported by so many. We can’t thank you all enough for believing in this vision, supporting and praying for the work we are spearheading, and partnering alongside us to bring the Good News of our Lord and Savior to the ENDS of the earth! It is all for His glory and we thank Him daily that He has considered us worthy to carry this torch.
