We are so excited to get the opportunity to experience the Land of the Bible in Israel with our friends in Jerusalem, "Beit Rachamim", (Hebrew for; House of Compassion). From Tel Aviv, we will head to Jerusalem where we will get the opportunity to skate where Jesus walked! Our plan will be to visit skateparks, hopefully surf (depending on the forecast) all while also visiting Biblical and historical sites throughout the country such as the Valley of Elah, the Western Wall, and the Garden Tomb. We are Landing in Frankfurt to spend 5 days in Germany and are stoked to be partnering with leaders from three local skate outreaches. We will street skate and host outreach events in Frankfurt, Cologne, Siegen, and Munich before hopping on a train to Switzerland. We will be in Switzerland for 2 days to partner with a local leader to street skate and blitz the skateparks with the Gospel. Our last stop will be a 4 day stretch in Bulgaria to Partner with a youth pastor who is also a professional skateboarder. He will show us the spots and join us in sharing the Gospel at local skateparks. Each morning will start with a time of devotion before hitting the streets/parks to film and share the Good News.

We will be partnering alongside La Casa de RIde Nature in their weekly ministry such as skate church, surf church, and the local church that they have started. We will also be hosting a skate contests and outreach events. We want to serve and support them in whatever they might need. Remember that we are there to bless them with extra hands and resources.

In Huacho we will be hosting our 5th annual surf camp for some of the local youth of the church Craig and Daisy are leading. This is a 2/3 day surf camp/discipleship retreat where the group will be sleeping on the beach and getting to pour into the youth through this opportunity. We'll be serving at the church, helping to assist with some work projects, and also hosting at least 1 skate outreach event. There will be opportunities to share personal testimonies and also go into the community for street evangelism at the local university and those we meet at the events we are leading.

If you are looking to "skate and serve" this is 100% the trip that you need to be on with us in 2022! Every year on June 21st, cities around the globe gather together to celebrate their love for skateboarding. This day is known as “International Go Skate Day”. We’ve been to some of the biggest cities in the world and definitely many that have a love for skateboarding but we’ve yet to discover a city with a passion so deep for skateboarding as Medellin, Colombia!

This will be our 4th time to return to Medellin, but our 3rd year to help host the Go Skate Day activities in Medellin. After last year, the events went so well that we've been asked to return and help host them again. During our time in Medellin, we will be visiting multiple skateparks, hosting contests, giving away boards, and sharing the Gospel along the way.

We will be partnering with a couple ministries to host contests at each of the major city's skate parks. Our hope is to encourage the skate community with a fun and simple event, bless them with free product donated by people who are praying for recipients, and to share the word of Christ with those who are present.

We will be returning to Addis after a few years to serve Israel and his ministry, Megabi. The ministry has experienced much development but also struggle including the loss of a facility to fire and civil war. As Megabi raises funds, we hope to be able to contribute to the rebuild of Megabi House as well as work alongside them in order to instill hope in their community.

We are blessed to be working alongside Casa Vida Church to host surf outreach events, serve daily meals at local feeding centers, and assist in facility renovations. Casa Vida has a long-standing ministry presence in Tamarindo and COVID-19 has, like most places, caused them to adjust, pause, and even cancel some of their regular activity. Our prayer is that we can come along side them to inspire and encourage for the work in years to come.

Back in 2014 we had our first staff from Brazil come on board with Ride Nature. Eduardo (aka "Eddy") moved from Sao Paolo to Florida to work with the ministry. We've always know Brazil had a ton of opportunities for ministry but it wasn't until several years after Eddy came that we sent several staff with him back to Brazil and our mind was blown by the actual number of skateboarders, skateparks, surfers, and overall people there are that could be reached through action sports. It has been almost 6 years since we've been in Brazil and we're excited to be returning again but this time with a bit of a larger vision.

This trip will be multifaceted with the goal of meeting new leaders, hosting events, sharing the Gospel, and also filming for a new media project in the works with Ride Nature. Because it's been so long since we've been in Brazil and we'll be paving the way for future trips, this trip will definitely look a little bit different from normal trips, but will be an awesome inside look to how we cultivate new partnerships, getting to be a part of laying the foundation for future trips, and also paving the way for the future of Ride Nature Brazil!
