SKATE CHURCH
YOU’RE INVITED
Each week here in SWFL we visit several of our local skateparks to bring free pizza and host a short Bible study with the goal of building relationships with the local skaters and to set an example for them of what it looks like to follow Christ. We call it “SKATE CHURCH” and several of these weekly gatherings have been meeting each week since 2010!
Skate Church is a skateboard ministry that meets the skaters where they are at, in the skateparks. Consistency is a huge thing for us and our goal is to be at each of these parks every week, rain or shine! The same is true with the hope of being intentional with our time at these parks. For most of the kids in our community, this is the only exposure to Christianity or church that they get all week long.
We’re excited to bring the church to skateparks and are working through our organization to empower leaders globally to do the same thing through a new initiative and campaign we recently launched called “SKATE CHURCH MOVEMENT”. Below is a list of the skateparks we lead skate ministry at each week here in our community and the times that we gather. We would love to have you join us!
