PURPOSE

Every summer the Tippie’s host a surf camp for the kids in the local community. This purpose is to give those who never have the privilege of surfing Peru’s incredible waves that chance and share the love of God while we do it. We will assist in transporting, setting up and tearing down camp on the beach, hosting lessons, sharing the gospel, and interacting one on one with the children. If you love to surf and have a heart for the underprivileged, this may be a great opportunity for you!

OUR DESTINATION
Located about 3 hours north of Lima is the much smaller yet still densely populated city of Huacho. Coming from Lima, the hustle and bustle slows to a pace of life centered more on agriculture and trade. Still, much like Lima, the surf is consistently pushing good waves. Our friends, Craig and Daisy Tippie have planted a church in the heart of the city and have served there faithfully for many years through surf outreach and other local efforts.
