PERSONAL UPDATE

Hello Everyone, it is with much joy that I would like to announce that i will be officially joining the Ride Nature Team. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Ride Nature is a nonprofit ministry organization focused on bringing the Good News of The Gospel to the ends of the earth through the medium of action sports outreach. I first became acquainted with RN back in 2017-18 when I stumbled into their home base & coffee shop "The House Of Ride Nature" located in downtown Fort Myers, Fl. It was not long after walking through those doors that I discovered and connected with the heart of this organization. Looking back, as a believer who is passionate about art, music, nature, story, and travel it is no wonder I felt such an instant connection with the heart of who they are.

Fast forward to the winter of 2018, I packed my bag and joined Ride on mission to Peru, where we spent 10 days connecting with and serving local communities through skate and surf outreach. We even held a 3 day, 2 night surf camp on a remote coastline where we surfed by day, gathered fire-side by night & worshipped under the stars, as well as witnessed multiple kids be baptized and give their lives over to Christ. It was my first time on mission and my first real time out of the country aside from a trip to Cancun, Mexico while in high school ( which I would hesitate to say "counts" ). Sitting here now I still remember being absolutely captivated by the immensity of our Creator, and the way in which His hands are touching and moving so many lives in lands so far from that which we call home.

Not long after getting back from that trip a lot began to change in the world i.e. a global pandemic. In typical fashion the Lord would utilize that time to allow me to discover and fall in love with the medium of analog photography, as well as call me deeper into my writing and journaling practice. Which again, unbeknownst to me would ultimately lead me to where I am today; accepting a full-time roll on RN's global staff as Senior Editor for The Pursuit Collective. A branch of the organization dedicated to capturing and telling stories of all that the Lord is doing throughout the world within, but not limited to, the action sports & art communities, in the form of a yearly physical publication as well as through different digital mediums.

I truly believe and have faith that this is the area in which the Lord is calling me to boldly & humbly step into during this next season of my life. With that being said, I would like to graciously ask all of you to be praying for a smooth transition as this next chapter of my life unfolds. As you may or may not know, stepping into a full time ministry position presents a unique set of challenges and requires a certain degree of sacrifice. Each staff member of the organization is encouraged to partake in raising financial support as full time missionaries, which in return means I will be doing the same. As this will be the bulk of my monthly income I am praying for the ability to cultivate a strong & consistent team of 25 monthly financial supporters to help me reach my monthly goal of $2,800. The funds raised by this family of supporters will contribute to my day to day living expenses, such as food, gas, bills, travel etc. I am beyond grateful for any amount you feel called to give, even if this means simply keeping me in your prayers. As for those of you who do feel called to give financially, especially on a consistent/monthly bases I can not thank you enough, it is you who will truly make this endeavor of bringing the gospel To The Ends Of The Earth a sustainable reality for me.
