$500 + FLIGHT

PURPOSE

God has shown so much kindness and favor as we’ve worked to have more of a presence in Cuba. Our good friend and co-laborer in the gospel, Jesus Martinez has been leading the charge with relationships down in Havana - discipling young men, training them in the Word, and equipping them to be faithful witnesses in their community. We are returning to re-engage with these few in order to encourage them in the gospel, and work with them in reaching the many Cubans who are far from Christ. We want to leverage a community’s love for skateboarding in order to show them the love of God!

OUR DESTINATION
CUBA IS AN ISLAND GOVERNED BY SOCIALISM RESULTING IN A POVERTY STRICKEN COMMUNITY WITH LITTLE TO NO ACCESS TO BASIC NEEDS. HAVANA, THE LARGEST CITY AND CAPITAL, IS THE PLACE WHERE MANY CUBANS FROM SURROUNDING AREAS ON THE ISLAND BELIEVE SUCCESS AND PROSPERITY FLOW FROM. WHILE IT IS TRUE THAT IT IS A CULTURAL HUB OFFERING MUCH TO MANY WHO LIVE AND VISIT THERE, IT WILL NEVER BE THE HOPE FOR CUBANS IN THE WAY THEY NEED.
