TRIP DETAILS

PURPOSE

We want to invite you TO THE ENDS this summer on a Ride Nature mission to Bosnia! This May, we are embarking on an open skate ministry trip, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to serve, connect, and make an impact. Partnering with a local skate shop and working alongside the local church, our team will focus on using skateboarding as a tool for outreach, discipleship, and community building. Through skate sessions, events, and intentional conversations, we aim to encourage and equip the local skate scene while sharing the hope of the gospel. This trip is open to anyone with a heart for ministry and a passion for skateboarding. Join us as we step into this incredible opportunity to support and strengthen the growing skate community in Bosnia!

WHAT’S INCLUDED

ALL IN-COUNTRY NEEDS:

  • Lodging

  • Transportation

  • Water and snacks

  • 3 meals a day

  • Group outings and activities

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

ADDITIONAL EXPENSES:

  • additional snacks or special food requests

  • additional activities or board rentals aside from group activities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Passport with 6 month validity

  • 18 yrs of age or older (or parent/guardian traveling with)

CLIMATE: Continental climate with warm summers and cold, snowy winters, characterized by average temperatures around 25-40°F in winter and 65-85°F in summer.

Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a city rich in history, culture, and resilience. Nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains, it blends Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, and modern influences, creating a unique and diverse atmosphere. While the skate scene in Sarajevo is still growing, it is fueled by a passionate community of skaters dedicated to pushing the culture forward. With a handful of skate spots, DIY projects, and a local skate shop at the heart of the movement, the scene is steadily expanding, offering an exciting opportunity to support and invest in its growth.
